We are looking for motivated and committed trainees who are interested in the raw materials market and would like to start their career in this exciting industry. As a trainee, you will receive in-depth training and will be introduced to various areas of raw materials trading.

Your skills

  • Completed school education (ideally with a good qualification) or a comparable educational qualification.
  • Interested in office organization, administrative tasks and commercial activities.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ideally experience with office software.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work in a structured manner even under time pressure.
  • Reliability, discretion and a friendly demeanor.
  • Interest in trading raw materials and economic connections.
  • Analytical skills and affinity for numbers.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
  • Initiative and commitment.

 

During your training, you will learn:

  • Introduction to the basics of raw materials trading: You will learn about the different raw materials and their trading markets, as well as the processes and mechanisms of trading.
  • Market observation and analysis: You will be trained to track market developments, analyze price developments and identify market opportunities.
  • Procurement and purchasing: You support the selection of suppliers, price negotiations and the handling of purchasing processes.
  • Sales and customer service: You will be introduced to the distribution of raw materials and learn to process customer inquiries, create offers and maintain customer relationships.
  • Logistics and transport: You will gain insights into the organization of transport, warehouse management and the processing of import and export transactions.
  • Risk management: You will be made aware of risks in raw materials trading and will learn strategies for reducing risks.
  • General Office Organization: You will assist with organizing and managing office processes, scheduling, mail processing, and coordinating meetings and events.
  • Communication and correspondence: You are the contact person for internal and external inquiries, process emails and telephone calls and write business letters and minutes.
  • Document management: You are responsible for managing and archiving documents, including digital document storage and data maintenance in appropriate systems.
  • Accounting and administration: You will assist with bookkeeping, invoicing, monitoring incoming payments and managing office supplies and equipment.
  • Human resources: You help prepare documents for personnel administration, maintain databases with employee information and support the organization of recruiting processes.
  • Quality management: You contribute to ensuring quality standards by monitoring, documenting and continuously improving processes.
